Alejandra Llaneza was a five-time Mexican Junior National champion and was a member of the 2008 Mexican National Team at the World Amateur Golf Team Championships. She played college golf at the University of Arizona and was named a 2008 Pacific 10 Conference Honorable Mention. She won the 2011 Cactus Tour event at Wigwam and was a member of the Symetra Tour in 2012.
