5’6”...Started playing golf at the age of 8...Credits her parents Rob and Evelyn and coach Kelvin Haller as the individuals most influencing her career...Hobbies include reading, basketball and fishing...In 1997 and 2001, was honored with an ESPY Award from ESPN as the Outstanding Women’s Golf Performer of the Year...Helped found and organize the annual Karrie Webb Celebrity Pro-Am to benefit the Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation...Carried the Olympic Torch for the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney...Recognized during the LPGA’s 50th Anniversary in 2000 as one of the LPGA’s top-50 players and teachers...Named Female Player of the Year by the Golf Writers Association of America in 2000...Named Queensland Sportswoman of the Year three consecutive times (2000-02) and was inducted as one of the first two Womensport Queensland Legends with Susie O’Neill in 2002...In 2008, along with Jan Stephenson, was unanimously granted Life Membership on the Australia Ladies Professional Golf (ALPG) Tour by the members…In 2009, launched 'Karrie's FANtastic Freebies,' where she donated 50 free tickets for fans to attend one of seven LPGA events or the U.S. Women's Open. The Evian Championship Second-Round Notes and Interviews
