Also tied for second at the CN Canadian Women's Open, tied for third at the Lorena Ochoa Invitational Presented by Banamex and Corona Light, tied for seventh at the Corona Championship and tied for ninth at the CVS/pharmacy LPGA Challenge.
Qualified for her second consecutive U.S. Solheim Cup Team.
Was the youngest player to automatically qualify for the 2009 squad at the age of 21, and posted a 2-0-1 record for the victorious squad.
Carded her third LPGA career hole-in-one during the opening round of the Navistar LPGA Classic Presented by Monaco RV.
2008:
Won the Kapalua LPGA Classic, her second LPGA career victory, and crossed the $2 million mark in career earnings.
Carded four additional top-10 finishes, including a tie for second at the Sybase Classic Presented by ShopRite, a tie for sixth at the McDonald's LPGA Championship and a tie for eighth at the HSBC Women's Champions.
2007:
Became a Rolex First-Time Winner and youngest player in LPGA Tour history to win a major championship (18 years, 10 months, 9 days) at the Kraft Nabisco Championship.
Tied her career-low 64 in the third round of the Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic Presented by Kroger, where she recorded her first LPGA career hole-in-one in the final round.
Carded her second LPGA career hole-in-one in the third round of The Mitchell Company LPGA Tournament of Champions; crossed the $1 million mark in career earnings at the McDonald’s LPGA Championship Presented by Coca-Cola.
Was a member of the victorious U.S. Solheim Cup Team.
Was part of the victorious LPGA Tour team at the Wendy’s 3-Tour Challenge – an unofficial LPGA event – along with Natalie Gulbis and Cristie Kerr.
2006:
Recorded a season-best third place at the Longs Drugs Challenge.
Carded a career-low 64 during the second round of the LPGA Corning Classic.
Finished third in the Louise Suggs Rolex Rookie of the Year race on the strength of seven additional top-10 finishes, including a tie for fifth at the SBS Open at Turtle Bay, the ShopRite LPGA Classic and the Corona Morelia Championship.
2005:
Tied for sixth at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament to earn exempt status for the 2006 LPGA Tour season.
Turned professional in November.
Pressel’s well-decorated amateur career was capped with a runner-up finish at the 2005 U.S. Women’s Open (tied with Brittany Lang).
Pressel also qualified for the U.S. Women’s Open in 2001 and 2003, setting a record in 2001 for the youngest player to qualify for that event at the age of 12 (this record has since been broken).
In 2005, Pressel played in six additional LPGA events as a sponsor exemption and never finished below 25th.
She tied for fifth at the State Farm Classic and tied for 19th at both the Kraft Nabisco Championship and the Michelob ULTRA Open at Kingsmill.
Pressel also won the 2005 U.S. Women’s Amateur and the 2004 North and South Women’s Amateur Championship.
She was the top-ranked girls junior and women’s amateur by Golfweek magazine for much of 2005.
Pressel also had great success on the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) circuit, compiling 11 AJGA wins.
She won all five AJGA Invitational events in which she was eligible to play and was named the 2005 AJGA Player of the Year.
She was a five-time Rolex Junior All-American and was a first-team selection from 2003-05.
Pressel was a member of the U.S. PING Junior Solheim Cup Team in 2002, 2003 and 2005 and competed for the East Team in the Cannon Cup from 2002-04.
Pressel also dominated high school golf in Florida, winning three state titles from 2003 to 2005.
At the age of 17 and after receiving permission from then-LPGA Commissioner Ty M. Votaw to receive an age exemption to apply for LPGA membership, she earned her LPGA exempt card after tying for sixth at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament.
LPGA Commissioner Carolyn F. Bivens granted Pressel full membership and playing privileges beginning in January 2006.

Credits her grandfather, Herb Krickstein, as the individual most influencing her career.
Hobbies include traveling, yoga, photography, food & wine, and being a dog mom to Mini English Goldendoodle “Zoe”.
Hosts the annual “Morgan & Friends Fight Cancer” charity golf tournament and has raised more than $8.5 million since 2008 to benefit the Morgan Pressel Foundation’s initiatives to support patient care and research in the fight against cancer.
Qualified for the Tour on her first attempt.
