The LPGA Foundation welcomes another member to its team of Education Partners. Colour Path Golf strives to provide both LPGA Professionals and LPGA*USGA Girls Golf Site Directors with fun and engaging educational content.
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., September 25, 2020 – The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Foundation announced today a new partnership with Colour Path Golf to introduce the game of golf to more individuals, particularly young women and girls around the world.
Created by UK PGA Professionals John Glenn and Kevin Merry, the team at Colour Path Golf has become an innovative teaching force with more than 100 certified instructors teaching the system worldwide, with coaches seeing a positive impact globally in the way this new visual way of learning is being received through the transfer of information in the language of color.
“LPGA*USGA Girls Golf programs are all about making the learning process fun and engaging for girls,” said Nancy Henderson, President of the LPGA Foundation. We are delighted to Partner with Colour Path Golf, as they will provide our LPGA Members and Girls Golf Site Directors with an exciting opportunity to learn a unique color coded teaching concept utilizing four specific colors as a communication tool, helping to simplify the learning process of golf. The Partnership with Colour Path Golf will also allow LPGA Members and Girls Golf Site Directors a fantastic opportunity once certified, to have access to exclusive partnership discounts, new ongoing coaching ideas, educational resources and webinars with its founders through their video call support platform. One of the key aspects of the partnership is the creation of a coaches networking group, where best practices will be shared amongst the members on how to utilize the training kit within lesson programs for both individual and group coaching.
The teaching concept of Colour Path Golf is designed to give golfers of any age or expertise a variety of fun and enjoyable learning experiences by transferring information in a simple to follow, visual way. Essentially, what the team at Colour Path Golf have created is an innovative, easily manageable coaching tool kit that allows the coach and the student to communicate with added clarity through a predominantly externally focused learning environment.
Together, both The LPGA Foundation and Colour Path Golf look to continue to develop their relationship with the objective of providing members with additional educational support to compliment current LPGA training programs as they aim to inspire and recruit the next generation of new golfers to the game.
