Following her engagement in 2012, Hee Kyung Seo got married during the off-season on November 30, 2013 in Seoul, Korea. The wedding was held in a Catholic church with almost 800 guests attending.
Seo married her long-time boyfriend, Junghoon Philip Kook, a 34-year old banker who also studied in the United States, graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2002 with a bachelor’s degree in Economics.
The newlyweds spent the rest of Seo’s offseason visiting Maui for their honeymoon and settling into their new home in Seoul.
