For members of Team U.S.A. and Team Europe The Evian Championship acted as their final tune-up before they face off at the 2015 Solheim Cup on Friday, September 18.
All 24-golfers that will tee it up in St. Leon-Rot, Germany participated in the tour's final major of the year in Evian-Les-Bains, France. Of the 24, Lexi Thompson earned the top spot on the leaderboard with her 2nd-place finish. While both teams each had 4 members miss the cut at Evian, Team U.S.A. had a much better showing overall with five-members finishing inside the top-20. Michelle Wie (T16), who has been battling injuries for most of the season, bounced back from a poor opening round to make her first cut since the U.S. Open on July 9th. Karine Icher (T20) held the top spot on the leaderboard for team Europe and was the only member under-par in the season's final major.
