Team U.S.A. for the 2017 Solheim Cup will include 12 players from the LPGA Tour. Eight players will qualify based upon points they accumulate from top 20 finishes at LPGA events during the qualifying period. That period began August 27, 2015 and runs through a date to be determined during the 2017 season. Two other players will be chosen from the top players on the Rolex Women’s World Rankings (who are not already qualified on the Solheim Cup point standings). The two remaining players will be selected by Team USA Captain Juli Inkster.
