Hole 16
This 380-yard par 4 plays along the brow of a hill with fairway bunkers along the brow and a fairway that will feed the ball to the left. It sets up second shots into a narrow right to left sloping green guarded by bunkers on the front right and left. Right-handed players will face second shots with the ball above their feet. Precise approach shots onto the right side of the green will be necessary to prevent the ball from rolling into the rough on the left. Par will be a good score on this hole.
Hole 10
The par 4 tenth hole features fairway bunkers along the left side, directing players to the favored right side of the fairway. However, newly renovated greenside bunkers on the front right and front left will set up some difficult pin positions. Club professional Scott Howe expects many Solheim Cup players will exercise caution with short-iron approach shots to the middle of the green to avoid the bunkers.
