Golf isn’t the only sport in which Catriona Matthew excels.
This week, the major champion was named the third ambassador for the TOTAL BWF World Badminton Championships 2017. The championships will be held in Matthew's home country of Scotland in August in Glasgow. Matthew spent Wednesday with 100 children at the Shuttle Time Big Hit festival to help introduce children to the game.
Matthew became the first female inducted into Scotland’s Golf Hall of Fame in 2016 and will serve as Vice Captain to European Captain Annika Sorenstam at this year’s Solheim Cup.
